The program was driven by the requirements to maintain or improve lettable area, improve amenity and attract or retain tenants in an increasingly competitive commercial market. The introduction of the two storey retail “cubes” provides a mechanism to address many of thee key issues while providing opportunities to enhance the built form and resolve urban design issues. The new entry with glazed canopy over provided a direct link between Grenfell Street and the ground floor lobby which was sadly lacking previously.
